Come July and thereafter, our tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and more are ripe and ready for you! Before July we have kale, onions, lettuce, cut flowers, and transplants for your own garden. We are a family-owned and run business. We grow fresh and flavorful, predominantly open-pollinated vegetables, herbs and flowers IN your community. Our organic gardening methods include raised beds, intensive planting, drip irrigation to conserve water, no-till and seed saving. We have a produce stand at our largest garden — 3009 S Prospect Ave., Champaign, across Prospect from the First Baptist Church, Savoy. “Food miles” is the distance food travels from where it’s produced to the place you buy it. At UGC food miles are ZERO.
